- Coming HomeI was born on March 22, 2002. On this day around 4pm my mother was rushed to the hospital where I was born. I was born 8 pounds and my mother reminds me that I was always a big baby. My mother had always wanted her Childs birthday to fall on her birthday but I was actually born 2 days after her birthday. This day will always be a story to tell for my grandma because right after birthed I peed on her.
- Summer DaysEvery summer my family would plan backyard barbecues. These traditions would include lots of food, drinks, music, and games. The BBQs were very important because it brought the family together and helped us grow closer.
- Marching BandIn the 5th grade I started going to my schools after school program where I joined marching band. Here me and many students learned how to play drums and make various beats. After learning we played in many schools shows and received great excitement from the crowd.
- Activity Specialist After I turned 16 I started working at the same afterschool program I attended. My duties included helping the participants with homework and assisting the sensei. Assisting the sense included helping with techniques, equipments, and the parents.
- Present Day 1I currently work as sub paraprofessional for the Department of education. My duties include being a teachers assistant and providing aide to every and all students. This Is my second year and has been going well so far.
- Present Day 2I am currently now the head instructor of the Drumline club at the same after school program I went to. Here I teach young minds and are working to prepare for our upcoming showcase. I am teaching the paricipants how to use 3 different types of drums.
- Near FutureIn my near future I see myself graduating from Medgar Evers College with my bachelors degree in childhood education. This would be a amazing accomplishment being that I am a first generation college student. I would then go on to nyc teachers exam in hopes of being a licensed teacher.
