Odysseus reached Circe's island and tells him some news. When Odysseus's men are away, Circe talks to him about a quest he must go on for help to find his way back to Ithaca.
Hello, I am Circe! You and and your crew will come upon the sirens, Scylla, and the whirlpool monster Charybdis. Go towards Scylla, not Charybdis
After one whole year staying on Circe's island, Odysseus and his men leave, on the journey to the underworld, where they will run into many obstacles,
Goodbye, thank you again!
Goodbye Odysseus, and remember about the monsters!
When Odysseus and his men are at sea once again, Odysseus only tells them about one of the creatures that they are going to come across, for hope that they do not worry.
Now listen men, on this quest we will come upon the sirens, who sing songs that send you to your death... but I've got a plan.
Odysseus prepared his crew to tie him to the mast so that he can discover what it was like hearing the songs from the sirens. The men have been blocked by the noise by putting wax in their ears. Thanks to this plan no one died from the Sirens.
AHHHHHHHHH!
After the sirens, the men are met by Scylla, the 6 headed beast. With this, Odysseus's men are shocked because they did not see this coming, for Odysseus did not tell them. Also, the men see Charybdis, not far from Scylla. For each head of Scylla, a man was eaten.
Odysseus and his men finally make it past all the monsters, and to Helios's island and Odysseus lets the men stay because he feels they earn it, for everything they have been through. The End.
That's alright, you were just looking out for us.
I'm sorry my men, I didn't tell you about those other monsters because I thought you would be too afraid.
