  • The two school friends enter and talk to Hamlet. Hamlet then discovers that the King and Queen had sent them. 
  • There is a kind of confession in your looks which your modesties have not craft enough to color. I know the good king and queen have sent for you. 
  • Actors had come to perform for Hamlet. Before the actors leave, Hamlet asks them to perform an altered version of a play.
  • Can you play the murder of Gonzago, and for a need, study a speech of some dozen lines which I set down and insert in t', could your not?
  • Ay, my good lord. 
  • Hamlet speaking to himself (and the audience) about his courage to exact revenge on behalf of his father. 
  • A damned defeat was made. Am I a coward?
