Chaucer’s opinion me is neutral. He doesn't directly say anything negative towards me, but he also doesn't say anything very positive. He talks about me having a lot of pride and boasting a lot, so readers believe the author thinks of me as annoying, as would anyone else. Lines 5 and 6 is me bragging about being able to take a door off of its post. This shows me as being annoying and overly prideful.
