My last day at the office

One fine day I came in the morning, happy as usual. As I got to my day, I received a notification of a 1x1 meeting with my manager, it had been pushed from the previous day, which was irregular. As the time came, I noticed my manager slightly miffed and restless in his chair, at som point he looked at me with a slight gaze expression. When we went our meeting, his manager also joined and it was then I realized something was definitely off, not quite the same. Both had a heavy look on their eyes, as they explained what was happening and that I was being let go. It was a short lived shock, as I suddenly realized how Life sometimes sends one blessings in disguise. It was an immediate reframe from "losing a job" to acquiring the chance to live what, how and with whom I wanted! I was handed the severance folder and walked back to my seat as I was asked if I´d like to finish the day off.
