- The BFG takes Sophie to work in Dream Country, where all dreams begin. They catch a golden phizzwizard, which is good, and a trogglehumper, which is a nightmare. This is where Sophie gets the idea of giving the Queen of England a dream. These rising events show that children are in danger.
- Falling Action #2
- The BFG and Sophie have given the Queen of England a dream about giants who eat children. When she wakes up, they let her know that the dream is real. Then the queen declares she will help them stop the giants. This is the climax because it is how the children can be saved from the giants.
- Resolution Slide #1
- The Queen has sent her soldiers to capture the nine bad giants.
- Resolution Slide #2
- The giants are being put into a pit where they will stay forever. All they have to eat are snozzcumbers. By trapping the giants, the children are no longer threatened.
- A special house with high ceilings, enormous doors, and a room for all of his dreams was built for the BFG, and a small cottage right next to it was built for Sophie. This shows the human and the good giant can live together peacefully.
- Since the BFG wanted to learn how to read and write, Sophie volunteered to give him lessons every day. She suggested for him to write a book, which would turn out to be The BFG.
