The spies promised Rahab that they would spare her and her family during the Battle of Jericho. The spies then returned back across the Jordan.

The Lord instructed Joshua to tell the priests who are carrying the ark of the covenant across the Jordan, once they reach the river's edge, to stand in the middle and all of Israel will pass through dry. Joshua then said to the Israelite's this is how you will know that the living God is among you.
Joshua then was instructed by the Lord to place 12 stones from the middle of the Jordan (which represent the twelve tribes of Israel) to the camp they were staying at that night after crossing the Jordan. The Lord told Joshua that these stones are a memorial to the people. Joshua then told the Israelites that these stone represent God's power, so that you might always fear the Lord your God.
The Lord then instructed Joshua to circumcise all of the Israelites because all the people that came out alive from Egypt were circumcised, but all those who weren't circumcised perished. After all the nation had been circumcised, they remained at camp until they were healed
Once Joshua and the Israelites reached the outskirts of Jericho. Joshua was instructed by a commander of the Lord's army to take off his shoes, for this land was holy. When Joshua and the Israelites finally reached the walls of Jericho, they were instructed by the Lord to march around the city once everyday for six days, then on the seventh for seven. After they marched the city on the seventh day. Joshua commanded the army to shout and the walls of Jericho fell. The army devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed everything living in it.
