  • Chapter 16: The Cactus
  • You have come far, my children. And I am proud of you
  • Chapter 17: The Canoe
  • May the Great Mother be with you in all your travels, and don’t forget to pick the flowers.
  • Chapter 18: The Heart
  • I wanted to break him, make him beg forgiveness for having left us without letting us know where he was or if he was even alive
  • After Odila and her sisters prayed they open their eyes to a peaceful land with many cacti. As the look up they see a beautiful lady named Tonantzin.
  • Chapter 19: The Musician
  • But it’s not the end of it either. You’ll be hearing from my lawyer
  • Odila and her sisters finally made it home, thanks to Ixtali. Ixtali makes sure Odila brings home a flower for her mother.
  • Chapter 20: The Rose
  • Without you, I would be nothing more than a ghost of a woman, a spirit wandering this earth with no purpose, no direction — un fantasma with no one to love
  • After Odila and her sisters just reunited with their mother their papá shows up after leaving them.
  • Chapter 21: The Crown
  • Papá tried to kick out mamá as a replacement for his new family. Although his plan backfired and threatens them.
  • Odila was really confused about the roses and was talking to mamá if she really liked them. But mamá liked seeing her daughters faces better.
  • After Odila gave the roses to La Llorona she faded away and 5 stars became a new constellation. Then Tonantzin appeared to tell Odila that she did her part.
  • So this is what it was all about, a new constellation — new life in the universe
