  • He was sourrounded with such an abundance of religious honour that many people tought there was nonthing left but to worship the heavenly gods
  • Augustus was considered the great source of peace for Rome. From this evidence, we can see that the deification and worship of the Emperor was common throughout the Empire. Many eventually saw Augustus as a blessing.
  • The fact that his father Julius had been divinized after his death meant that Augustus would now have ground for claiming the title of "son of god."

  • Jesus was born to a young Jewish virgin named Mary in the town of Bethlehem, south of Jerusalem in modern day Palestine. 
  • Tell me about Jesus.
  • Very little is known about Jesus’s childhood. Scriptures reveal that he grew up in Nazareth, he and his family fled persecution from King Herod and moved to Egypt.

  • Jesus was raised Jewish and aimed to reform Judaism.
  • When he was around 30 years old, Jesus started his public ministry after being baptized in the Jordan River by the prophet known as John the Baptist.
  • Jesus traveled with 12 appointed disciples, teaching people and performing what witnesses described as miracles.

  • The Last Supper was a major events in the earthly life of Jesus Christ
  • First, Jesus predicts He will suffer soon after this meal and it will be His last meal prior to finishing His work on behalf of the kingdom of God
  • Second, Jesus gives His followers symbols of remembrance for His body and His blood sacrificed on behalf of all mankind
  • That is so sad!
  • Third, Jesus provides a very important principle for living a Christian life: the greatest are those who serve others, not those who want to be served.

  • Christianity is the religion that is based on the birth, life, death, resurrection and teaching of Jesus Christ.
  • Christianity expanded throughout the world; it is currently the largest religion of the world.
  • The Christian faith centers on beliefs regarding the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • Christianity throughout the world is one of the most successful spiritual missions in human history.
