- John:Hello, so we are still on for tomorrow?
- Jack:Of course! How can  I forget?

- Jack:Okay John, I am so exhilarated and elated that we can finally meet up!
- John:Let's go. Get in the back seat.

- John:Congrats! I am very proud of you. You couldn't do it before but you could do it now! Nice!

- Jack:Yay! I did it!
- James:Hmm...I have a plan...hehe
- John and Jack were the best of friends. They were as thick as thieves.  The weekend had struck. John and Jack had been waiting for it all week. They had planned to go to the biggest and most popular arcade in the country to spend their afternoon there.

- John:What's he up to now? I hope he doesn't ruin everything.
- James:Wow! Good Job, Jack. I didn't know you were so talented!
- John awoke to the sound of his deafening alarm. He instantaneously took a glance at the calendar and squealed with delight. He jumped out of bed and within minutes he was running to the bus stop, heading towards Jack's house with his breakfast still in his mouth. He picked Jack up and they cycled to the arcade. They knew that the arcade would be a magnificent sight to behold!

- James:Did you know that John, your best friend, has been telling people about all your secrets and that he told everyone in class that you were a terrible friend?
- When they opened the doors of the arcade, they were mesmerised by the buzz created by the many people who were there and the games. They stepped in with a wide smile on their faces. Both of them were mainly attracted by the Hammer game. They were like magnets to a piece of iron. Jack went first. He was very brawny, much brawnier than John. When Jack lifted the hammer and hit it, he managed to hit it extremely hard and achieved a high score. The school bully, James, saw that.

- Jack:Cry all you want! Loser!
- James:Hahahaha!
- James approached them. He started congratulating Jack. Both John and James were dumbfounded as James was their adversary. Jack decided to play along as he did not want to deal with his gang. Jack thanked him. Soon, the both of them started talking to each other. As much as John knew that Jack was just playing along, he was starting to doubt it. Jack had fallen into James trap. The bully, James, saw that and wanted Jack to be part of his gang because of his strength. He despised John and knowing that Jack and John were best friends, he wanted to ruin their friendship.
- Jack:Thanks?
- From that day, Jack started hanging out with James more often. John felt like a wet weekend. James told him stories about John. How a bad person he was. He kept telling him bad things and pressured him to hate John. At first, Jack didn’t believe it but soon he started to, slowly but surely. As the days passed, John started to believe James’ lies even more and started hating John more and more. Although the stories were fake, Jack listened and grew as furious as a lion. He became increasingly convinced by James.
- Jack:How could he? I have always trusted him and he does this! I'm not talking to him anymore!
- From then on, Jack totally ignored John. Previously, they still talked but very little. Now, he hates him. At the end, James cackled with euphoria. That was the end of a friendship. Till this very day, they do not talk. John has tried to talk to Jack, asking him what happened but Jack always ignores him. John still does not know why Jack hates him. ‘Is this the end?’ John sighed to himself. Yes, it truly is as he is drowned in sorrow and feels envious that Jack and James have become best friends and together, they continue bullying others at the school field .
- John:What have I done! Why is he ignoring me? I wish we were friends like always.
