- I, Odysseus am a hero!
- Hunter Harston
- A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.
- Some of my personal heroes are Nelson Mandela, Bill Gates, and Martin Luther King Jr.
- When I, Odysseus, had that amazing idea to build a great wooden horse, hide our men inside, and then fool the Trojans into wheeling the horse into their city as a trophy I showed heroism. I showed heroism by showing intelligence by coming up with the idea to get into the city, and I showed courage by going inside the castle inside the horse, along with my men.
- And remember that one time when I got the cyclopes so drunk he fell asleep and we heated the sharpened end of a stick until it glowed of red and we then shoved it in his eye so he couldn't see. Then the next morning we escaped underneath sheep. I showed heroism here by saving my men.
- And lastly, I was a hero when I took on the 100 suitors along with help from my son and my 2 trustworthy servants. This showed heroism because I showed courage by taking on the 100 suitors.
- While I do believe I am a hero, I guess I could of been non-heroic when I chose to go to the Cicones and got 72 of my men killed, and when I yelled back at the cyclops and told him who I was which ultimately allowed Poseidon to make my journey home hell. Although, while I did do these things, I still believe I am a hero.
