  • KING ENFORCES LAWS
  • Yes, Sir.
  • Please tell the Colonies that Parliament and I will be enforcing a Law called the Townshend Act. It will tax all goods imported to the Colonies.
  • Spring of 1765: Two American Citizens have a conversation about the Stamp Act.
  • CARRAGE RIDE
  • I can't believe the King has the nerve to tax us without any representation!
  • Well, I heard he's only taxing us because he needs to pay off some debt from the Seven Years' War.
  • 1765: Two children share their thoughts on the Quartering Act.
  • BOSTON TEA PARTY
  • You can't tax my tea!
  • 1767: The King sends a man off to the 13 Colonies to report the new law created by Parliament, the Townshend Act. The act taxed all goods imported into the Colonies.
  • INTOLERABLE ACTS PASSED
  • THEY CAN'T PLACE THIS LAW ON US!
  • 1768: Both sides of the stories are argued between two Americans.
  • Either way, no taxation without representation!
  • December 16 1773: Americans get fed up with the British after they enforced the Tea Act, May 10 1773. In result, they throw tea into the Boston Harbor.
  • 1774: The King passes the Intolerable Acts due to the Boston Tea Party. Americans feel this is unfair and they will not stand for it.
