Our Parents told us that our great great grand father's tribe
didn't trade as much because they were most concerned about the animals.
Once the Paleolithic people settled in , trading became more common.
Once people had a stable food supply, there became new jobs knowing that their animals were safe.
Back in Paleolithic Times, people had only one job: find food.
Sometimes, we often had to travel hundreds of miles in search of trading for materials.
So, as they built farms, they got to focus on different jobs.
We also would ride on donkeys as a source of transportation or we traveled on foot.
Focusing on one job at a time, it gave people a lesson on how to do their jobs better.
Traders like us would look for items like flint and obsidian because they are rare and come from volcanoes.
Crafters would use obsidian for knife blades, mirrors, and arrowheads.
In one of the first towns called Catal Hoyuk, they learned how to grow 14 different crops!
The growth of trade allowed people to communicate better with each other.
There are many different examples what jobs people had
It also allowed people to use more different resources.
Clothing makers developed a way to weave.
If there was no trading or jobs, this scene might have still been a tiny hut it was before.
The developing of jobs and trade has been a big change.
