- how do i become roman?
- the dream and the war
- DON'T WORRY GUYS, I HAD A DREAM AND GOD SAID WE WOULD WIN!
- at it's peak, the roman empire has reached a area of 5 million square kilometer making it giant, but also very hard to defend.  it was also really hard to go from one side to the other just to see family. the romans did have a solution
- the split
- the empire is splitting in 2
- the pax romana was a good way to keep the economy a good one. to become a roman tho, you needed to do one of these three things: be adopted in a roman family, marry a roman citizen or a daughter of a roman citizen, in that case your citizenship would start by your children. you could also serve in the roman army for 25 years, which was very populair. once you were a roman citizen, you would have a lot of benefits. such as: better protection by law, own land in Italy and could vote in assemblies. they also paid with the Denarii
- what is left of the roman empire
- look at these walls, they are so old!
- constantine had a dream in wich God spoke to him, he said that if he would put christian symbols on his shield that they would win. constantine was a christian so he believed his dream and put the symbols on his shields and they actually won the war.
- rome
- Wow look at it, it's s big!
- because constantine won the war, he now was the first christian emperor in the roman empire. he placed churches down everywhere and that caused the empire to split into East and West rome. there was one advantage tho, the empire was easier to defend at least!
- wait what!? what happend?
- because some christian won a war and now he is making rome christian. the only way to stop him is by splitting the empire
- there is still some left of the roman empire, such as these limes, which are roman borders, with pieces still intact but most of it is gone. 
- there is also rome itself left, now the Capital of Italy, back where it originaly started. with popular buildings there such as the colosseum, a big amfitheater.
