- *Lakshmnan - gambling teacher *Rani (Lakshmnan's wife) - lazy, city woman *Dimple (Lakshmnan & Rani first daughter) - look like Mohini *Luke (Dimple's husband) - half chinese, wealthy man *Jeyan - become drunken *Ratha (Jeyan's wife) - hardworking, an orphan *Lakshmi (Grandma) - become a temperamental woman *Ramesh - The Bomoh, Uncle Sevenese's friend

- Lakshmnan got married to Rani eventhough Sevenese and Mother advised him not to. When living with Lakshmi, Rani never do the chores and only have her lunch then sleep until her husband back from work. She didn't give the full dowry money to Lakshmi but still asking Lakshmnan to get money from his mother. Then, they move to a new place. They have 3 children, Dimple, Nash & Bella.
- When Jeyan and Ratha lived at Lakshmnan's place, Rani accused Ratha for trying to steal her husband. She forced them to leave their place in 24 hour. After the incident, Ratha gave birth to two child and get divorced with Jeyan. Ratha bake cakes then give lessons in a civic centre for living. Jeyan became a drunken man after losing his wife and children. At the end of this part, father was warded and died on Novemeber 11, 1975.

Surprisingly, Luke's car stopped outside a Chinese medicine shop and a young girl in long black cheongsam embroidered with gold bamboo shoots stepped into her husband car. She was very shocked and then gave birth to their child, Nisha.
- Dimple decided to meet a bomoh, Ramesh after Uncle Sevenese gave the address to her. She asked the bomoh to help her by making the prostitute goes from her husband's life. The bomoh gave her salt to be put under the bed and a spell, she did it and it worked.
