- Once upon a time, there lived a boy called Rahul in a village. One day, he was walking down a path to the nearby forest.
- Q4. Using your own words, explain as fully as you can the tactics used by Preety to trick Stripes back into the cage.
- Rahul was shocked and frightened. The tiger pleaded Rahul to free him from the cage. Rahul hesitated for a while but Stripes assured that he would not harm Rahul.
- If I let you out, you would jump on me and eat me up.
- After much wailing of Rahul, Stripes agreed to ask he first three people who came along whether it was fair for him to eat up the boy or not.
- Q5. Describe Rahul's character and behaviour as fully as you can. Do you think he was wrong to let Stripes out of the cage in the first place?
