Storyboard Text

  • I used to skip meals, and be overwhelmed because of all the work I had. But since my friends started helping me, I've been eating all my meals, and I stopped what has been causing my stress. (total wellness)
  • Physical wellness is when we find the time to balance our nutrition, physical activity, and mental health. Since I am physically well, I do not have to worry about being sick, and I've become happier and healthier.

  • Selecting physical activities can be based upon our health conditions, personality/attitude, environmental considerations, and other considerations.
  • We can asses health and fitness by weight, resting heart rate, blood pressure, body mass index, and circumference measures.
  • Lifestyle wellness includes being physically, socially, mentally, and emotionally well. Being well in all of these selections you can have better grades, decreased disease, longer lifespan, better sleep, increased confidence, stronger/healthier bones, and reduced depression.
  • Do not manage stress with the use of food. Poor diet/nutrition can lead to unhealthy things like obesity. Always choose the healthy foods, they give you more energy than unhealthy ones.
