  • Good nutrition requires balance and nutrients from a variety of foods. Dietary habits begin from anywhere in life, but there are many factors that affect your relationship with food, socially.
  • The types of food optional are also factor if they are unhealthy or healthy. Shifting from a teen to an adult can also have an affect.
  • When you consume food and drink calories you should burn that off during physical activity. You should consume less than you burn when trying to lose weight. It can also help our nutrition.
  • Healthy foods- calorie intake protein (10-35%) carbs (45-65%) fats (20-35%). Foods that have high amounts of saturated and trans fat should be avoided. Read food labels for portion distortion, to see how much you need to consume.
  • Obesity comes from an excessive amount of fat stored in the body, it means the persons body weight is 20% over what it normally should be. Some bad factors from being obese include stroke, sleeping issues, and type 2 diabetes.
  • Food advertisements are trying to get people to buy food, the worst food products made are soda, high sodium snack foods, and high sugar cereal products.
  • Most people buy unhealthy foods because the price of healthy foods is much higher. People cannot afford that. But there are ways to eat a healthy diet.
  • FAD diets can harm your health such as getting fatigue, headaches, and weakness. FAD diets include tapeworm, grapefruit, and atkins. Claiming to help you lose fat fast, but in an unhealthy way.
