- Hi! today I'm going to present about important historcial moments.
- I don't think the earth is the center if the universe
- Yeah, it's more like the planets rotate around the Sun.
- Rene Descartes began the rationalism, in wich reasoning is the main source of knowledge.

- In the Enlightment periodd ended with the ignorance and began the light of knowledge.
- There were great philosophical discussions facing empiricism to rationalism
- In the scientific revolution many intellectuals began to question the world around them. Copernicus was the first one to state that theory of the planets. But the one that confirmed it was Keppler.
- The french revolution in 1789 led to the political changes , the absolutist monarch was converted into a republic.
- The scientific revolution lead to the creation of the scientific method, wich consists in collecting and analyzing evidence using the reasoning. This was created by Francis bacon.
- Changed from an economy based on agriculture, to one based on manufacturing products made by machines in industrial factories.
- The industrial revolution in XVIII
- Capitalism began an economic system based on industrial production. And socialism, an economic system in which society, usually the government, owns and controls most of the means of production.
- There were many changes reflected in art, music, literature, medicine, physics and mathematics. The empiricism says that experience and perception are channels for building knowledge, especially through observation.
- Main accomplishments: Term of the privileges of the clergy and aristocrats. The ending of servitude and feudal. The idea of equal pay of taxes. Redistribution of wealth and property. Division between church and state.
- There were changes in technology and industry which transformed production processes and product distribution. A significant growth in cities and two new classes emerged: the middle class and the working class.
