- The voting system was rigged so that the top two classes had the same voting power of the third estate. Even though the third estate held 98 percent of France's population.
- King Louis XVI's lavish spending and corrupt tax system caused him to be in hot water with the rest of France. Therefore, he planned to escape Frace.
- It's not fair the voting power is unstable!

- Louis' tax advisors told him to stop spending and change the system, but he wouldn't listen and only caused more problems.
- Because of this rigged voting system and the lavish spending of the king, France began to riot and wanted a new written constitution.

- Dude chill with all the cake. We need to manage our money. We are in debt.
- BETTER MONEY MANAGEMENT!
- The French people stormed the Bastille which was a major French prison in protest. This symbolized the fall of the French monarchy.
- King Louis and Marie Antoinette were both beheaded after being caught leaving France.

- The Reign of Terror began and many were killed because of riots and no stable government.
- Many Emigres left Spain. Emigres were refugees seeking new opportunities in other countries, seeing that France was not the right place to be.

- I hate to say this but I miss King Louis.
- The Directory is established to try and fix France, However they inherited many problems and ended up being overthrown.
- Napoleon's army dominated and defeated Austria and Russia. Napoleon had a great battle strategy and devised the Continental System. National pride thrived in France.

- Napoleon Bonaparte rose to power and staged a successful coup d'état, a sudden illegal seizure of power. Consulate modeled Roman Goverment. Made Code Napoleon which was a codification of French laws. Crowned himself king.
- Napoleon persuaded French people to raise an army to defend his empire against new European powers. Battle of nations- Napoleon's forces defeated at Leipzig, Germany.
- I GUESS ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END.
