  • Good evening my friends...I am here today to tell you about how a terrible tale of manipulation and backstabbing has affected how I viewed the world and what I learned from each perspective. Kinda weird I'm telling you this but I will since my grade depends on this.
  • Lets start off with the setting: Oceania, London 1984. We already know Big Brother is watching your every move, all the time. The proles/people are being manipulate by the Party multiple ways like the Newspeak, memory hole (alteration of the past), brainwashing and more
  • Big Brother is always...
  •
  • Lets start with Winston Smith, our main character
  • Whats the matter with this dude?
  • Watching
  • you....
  • This creep is always looking into my soul!
  • So, now lets talk a little bit about the characters: The perspectives I'm gonna talk about today are Winston, Julia and O'brien. Im going to describe each character and then state how it changed me.
  • Thoughtful Winston is thoughtful, he analyzes every situation with its posible outcomes.
  • FaithfulEven if he might get caught with Julia, he still has faith in her that they will rebel against the Party.
  • LogicalWinston is logical, he is rebellious but still, he doesn't take impulsive decisions, like Julia.
  • Risk-takerWinston risks it all with Julia by sleeping with her and rebelling against the Party.
  • DeclusiveWinston gives himself false hope, because even though he knows the Party will catch them, he still has "hope" that they with successfully rebel
  • FatalistWinston throughtout the book shows many signs of him doubting his rebellion or being sure about how the Party will eventualIy punish him and Julia
