- Hansel and Gretel were twins. their mother had passed years ago, and they were now stuck with their dad and his new wife. Their stepmother was evil, she would give them chores throughout the day and leave them very small rations of food in the evening. They could not go on like this.
- You ungrateful children shall not eat until the adults get what they want!
- Hansel and Gretel hatched a plan to escape that night and find their own way to live
- They set off in the night but soon, Hansel and Gretel realized they were lost! The breadcrumb trail they had been leaving was eaten up by squirrels and birds!
- Hansel and Gretel saw a light in the distance. They followed the light and arrived at a house made purely of candy! A witch came out of the house and invited them up for dinner, they were very grateful and followed her inside
- But when they got inside, the witch threw Hansel in a cage and made Gretel her servant! The witch said soon she will have a mighty feast on Hansel once he is ready to eat.
- But Gretel outsmarted the witch! She tricked her and pushed her in the oven and let Hansel out of his cage! They ran away and found their way back home, where their father was looking for them! He kicked the stepmother out and lived Happily ever after
