  • here you will see Odysseus'es bow. this bow was strung by Odysseus while he was disguised. he then shot an arrow through axes with this bow.
  • Here is a piece of the ship that was turned to stone. This rock was found off the coast of Phaecia, and with extensive research we found trace amounts of wood inside the rock. Legend has it that this rock was once a ship and that the ship was turned to stone by Poseidon himself.
  • This here is a tree root. It may not look like anything special, but Odysseus used this to escape Charybdis. He grabbed onto this root and waited for Charybdis to spit the water that he sucked in back out. After Charybdis had done this, Odysseus was able to get his raft back and continue sailing toward Ithaca.
  • This is a plank of Odysseus's raft. Sadly, we are not able to get the whole raft due to the fact that it was destroyed. Odysseus had received this raft when the gods told Thrinka to let Odysseus off of her island.
  • This here is a petrified lotus fruit. This may look like a normal lotus fruit, however, it has magical properties. These properties are that if you eat it, you do not want to stop eating it and you will be put in a trance. Odysseus had encountered these fruit. Luckily he did not eat them, but two of his crew did.
  • This here is an oar. this oar was used by Odysseus to calm Poseidon. in fact Odysseus had to walk 5 miles with this on his back.
