  • Where do you want to go Yanna?
  • I want to go to Ilocos Norte, where the windmills are located.
  • There are two sisters named Samantha and Yanna. They are planning to have a roadtrip later in the afternoon.
  • While they were on their way to the Windmills, Yanna keeps on asking her sister Samantha what is the purpose of the Windmills.
  • So ate Samantha, what are the purpose of Windmilss?
  • They had a little stopover and Samantha slightly discuss the importance of Windmills.
  • The most important use of the windmill was for grinding grain. In certain areas its uses in land drainage and waterpumping were equally important. The windmill has been used as a source of electrical power.
  • Isn't amazing?
  • Wow! So this is what a Windmill looks like.
  • Windmills operate on a simple principle. The energy in the wind turns two or three propeller-like blades around a rotor. The rotor is connected to the main shaft, which spins a generator to create electricity.
  • I want to know more about Windmills!
  • Harnessing the wind is one of the cleanest, most sustainable ways to generate electricity.Wind power produces no toxic emissions and none of the heat-trapping emissions that contribute toglobal warming. This, and the fact that wind power is one of the most abundant and increasingly cost-competitive energy resources, makes it a viable alternative to the fossil fuels that harm our health and threaten the environment.
  • Yanna was amazed by what her sister taught her asSamantha emphasizes how the Windmills work and its purpose. After their tour they went home safely and happily.
