- When Oedipus is born, Laius ties his hands and feet and leaves him on a mountainside to die. A shepherd rescues Oedipus and brings him to the king of Corinth, who raises Oedipus.

- Oedipus was walking on the road to Thebes to go kill his mother and father on the way a man hit his head with a walking stick which made oedipus very mad and killed all the men but one of them escaped

- When he arrived to Thebes where he meets the Sphinx, a terrible creature who guards the gates of the city. And asks him a riddle

- Jocasta has hanged herself, and Oedipus, finding her dead, has pulled the pins from her robe and stabbed out his own eyes.
- when oedipus found out that Jocasta killed herself he got Jocasta hairpins and stabbed his eye out and banishes himself from Thebes
- Oedipus left his sons Eteocles, Polyneices to rule the kingdom and took his daughters with him while they’re ready leaving oedipus got stuck by lighting the end .
