- I was born as a slave and always was mistreated and hungry . I always wanted to find away to escape and find the roads to freedom
- a long time ago, black people were enslaved and were treated harshly and had to work overtime without even any award and most of the time they were even beaten for not working
- I think I should cross the river, I heard that there was a group of people helping slaves to escape. I think I should escape tomorrow!
- as soon as I returned to my shed, I was thinking of multiple ways to escape. and after hours of thinking I knew what to exactly do
- I noticed a few logs laying near me and I thought that I might build a bridge from these logs to cross to the other side
- I headed out to the river until I noticed that it was very deep and very wide. he was about to give up
- yay I made it to the other side! I felt like a free fish! now I need to find these people so they can help me. I am very happy!
- after hours of searching for the house I finally found it and the owners welcomed me with their warm hearts. also there were many slaves that escaped from their masters there. they are heading to the north tomorrow
- 20 years later, I became a writer and a public speaker. I inspired many people and always stood with the slaves and their rights, soon I studied law and became a lawyer and helped with the abolishment of slavery
