- Have you heard?They raised minimum wageto $15 an hour.
- No I didn't know. That's not gonna be good for the economy.
- I think ti'll be good good for the economy it'll help lower class families get out of poverty. We needed the raise because everything is on the rise because of inflation.
- That's true but it'll also cause businesses to hire less people in order to pay their current employees. It's gonna hurt a lot of small businesses that can't afford to cover those payments to their employees
- I didn't think about it like that. The cost of living right now outweighs what they raised the minimum wage to.
- That is true inflation is on the rise at a rapid rate. Most apartments in Florida want at least $1600 for a one bedroom. Gas prices have went up to I currently pay almost $6 a gallon.
- The average cost of a single person in Orlando is $948 and that's without rent.
- Raising the minimum wage did help there's pros and cons to the decision. Obviously a pro would be that person is making more money.

- I do believe it did because it raises the amount of money a person is getting which raises the amount they can spend.
- Overall I believe it's good most of the pros outweigh the cons.
