  • Tropical Rain Forest
  • Abiotic factors
  • Biotic factors
  • By: Alyssa McNinch
  • Predator/Prey Relationship
  • Abiotic factors are nonliving things. Some examples that the Tropical Rain Forest biome has are warm, humid, rainy weather, and rich, fertile soil.
  • Symbiotic relationship
  • Biotic factors are living things in a biome. Some biotic factors of the Tropical Rain Forest biome are frogs, butterflies, birds, monkeys, snakes, trees, and flowers.
  • Competition
  • One predator and prey relationship in the Tropical Rain Forest biome is a frog and a snake. The snake is the predator and the frog is the prey because the snake eats the frog.
  • One symbiotic relationship in the Tropical Rain Forest biome is a spider monkey and a tick. This is an example of a parasite because the tick is being benefitted by the blood of the money, and the monkey is being harmed because it's losing blood.
  • An example of competition in the Tropical Rain Forest biome is trees competing to get the most sunlight.
