- After Scout, and Jem went fled in the front of the Boo Radley house the turned around to see what Atticus is doing to only see Mr. Avery stuck inside Ms. Maudie's house. Scout crying into Jem in horror, thinking he is going to die, while Jem watches.
- Scout,he's ...Oh God
- Mr. Avery quickly threw the mattress down and put his legs out the window and fell down on Ms. Maudie's shrubberry. As soon as that happens Jem reassure Scout that hes alive.
- He's got loose, Scout! He's all right!
- As soon as Mr. Avery got up he went towards were Scout and Jem were. With other men right behind him. The fire went on the 2nd floor destroying it.
- Atticus, Jem, Scout and other towns folk were on the sidelines watch the fire trucks taking the fire out. They then saw that Miss Maudie house was destroyed
- Boo Radley. You were so busy looking at the fire you didn’t know it when he put the blanket around you.
- Atticus went to go ask Scout while Jem was next to her why did she stay when she was told to go away from the fire. Scout didn't know what Atticus was talking about until she realized she had a blacket on her. Atticus then told her, and Jem that Boo Radley put it on her when she wasn't looking
- As soon as Atticus said that he warned Jem not to do anything that would make Boo reveal himself. Jem did say he wasn't but he was lying because as soon as Atticus leaves he tells Scout to image what it would be like to turn around and see him.
- Do not let this inspire you to go further glory, Jeremy.
- He's lying!
- Just think Scout, if you'd just turn around, you'd seen him
- I ain't gonna do anything to him.
