- Boo Radley is man who eats raw animals! He is very mean and hates everyone!
- Wow!!
- Omg! Boo's going to kill me!!!
- But it's hard they always provoke me!
- Scout you need to stop finding people.
- In the beginning of the book, when Scout was 6 she was completely immature. Her first reaction is to fight others when she is provoked.
- Okay Atticus. The world isn't fair though!
- Scout fight for what you think is right. Don't let anyone stop you.
- Another way Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird shows that she is immature is by believing all the rumors about Boo Radley. Despite Boo has never threatened her nor come near her, Scout being 6 does feel threatened.

- Soon later Scout is learning how to control her anger. Her father, Atticus tells her advice that helps her. He says, "Hold your head high and keep those fists down." Now when Scout ever feels like fighting anyone she remembers what her father tells her and doesn't do it.
- Why thank you Scout!
- This is our porch Mr. Boo.
- As Scout is growing up she finally learns maturity. Towards the end of the book Atticus once again gives Scout advice. He tells her to fight for what is right. She takes in the advice and is starting to look at the world differently.
- Towards the end of the book Scout is about 7 or 8 and has learned maturity. She shows maturity at her Aunt Alexandra's missionary society meeting. She helps Calpurnia by staying out her way and not dirtying her nice dress. She also respects her aunt by not making comments to her and her friends.
- At the end of the book Scout is 8 almost 9 and has learned maturity. She shows Boo to the front porch when she finally meets him. She learns that he isn't what she thought he was like and how all those rumors talk about him like.
