  • The tone that Creon uses as he speaks with the guard shows his stubbornness and impatience. (wide shot)
  • "For God's sake tell me what it is, and then get out" (pg 8).
  • "Oh God! I tell you your suspicions are wrong" (pg 9).
  • Creon's ignorance is shown here because since he is annoyed, he comes up with the thought that the guard is doing this for money. (wide shot)
  • "They're on my side. They're forced to cringe to you" (pg 13).
  • Antigone is trying to get it across to Creon that he is an insensible leader that the people are forced to obey, and with his ignorance, he continues to deny it. (wide shot)
  • "The sun won't run its course for many days before you have to repay a corpse of your own" (pg 25).
