It was March 13, and the Murchison Girls Soccer team was in high spirits, celebrating an amazing season and a city champions title.

The next day....
No more school, no more soccer, no more hangouts with friends. It felt as if I were trapped in my own home. With no toilet paper.
Fortunately, I was quarantined with my family, AKA my favorite people in the world, and we found ways to make it fun.
Through mandatory movie and game nights, trying new hobbies such as yoga and baking, and family pajamas we got through quarantine together.
Quarantine allowed me to bond with my family and learn to love my own company as well. I tried new hobbies and rekindled my love of reading. I am fortunate to have an amazing family and quarantine helped strengthen those relationships and remind me how valuable they truly are.
My family didn't face the same challenges as many around the world and in our country. We all stayed healthy and had the resources to stay home and have enough space for all of us to coexist relatively peacefully.
