- Importance to plot of story: The importance is that they want to control Maniac and he does things he shouldn't just for them

- Physical and Character traits: Fat, drunk, tattooed, angry, he's never at home
- Impact on Maniac Magee:He has racist ideas and he makes Maniac realize all the racist ideas and what people who are different are like

- Importance to plot of story:He makes Maniac realize this and he tries to change the idea about them and racism so he takes them to Mars Bar so they realize that he is just like them but they don't change their thinking until the kids get scared

- Impact on Maniac Magee:They help and care of him until they know he is friend of black girl so they reject him from his house because of the idea of racial racism
- Physical and Character traits: a big family, they are very kind,everyone who arrives accepts them in their house (but just white people)
- Importance to plot of story:They provide Maniac with shelter, food, and kindness in their home when he is homeless
