- I chose the 9th floor to put my apartment because it's near the center of top and bottom floor. While the buildings facililites are nearby and I can get a nice view from inside my apartment on what it looks like outside.
- This apartment is designed beautifully! How did you decide on where to put your apartment?
- There are so many facilities in this building! But how are they in relation to my apartment?
- Some of these facilities are the laundry room, the movie theater, my friends apartment, the gym, and the supermarket. All of these are in relation because the one's above my apartmentare positive while the one's below are negative.
- The laundry room would be a positive 1, the movie would be a positive 15, and my friends apartment would be positive 12. While the gym would be a -6 and the supermarket would be a -3.
- Hmm... If I were to go from my apartment down to the lobby, how would I do that?
- Well, I know my apartment is on the 9th floor and the lobby is on the 1st floor so I would have to go down in the elevator or stairs 8 stories to get to the 1st floor, also known as the lobby.
- Equation: 9-8=1
