- Ben is a 12 year boy who lives in Vienna Virginia. One day Ben comes home to find a very smart spy siting on his couch. The spy's name is Alexander Hale. Alexander tells Ben that he was accepted to spy school. They go upstairs to pack, and Ben's only weapon is a tennis racket.
- He gets to spy school and has his first exam on the spot. (The administrators pretend to attack him.) He meets Erica, and she gives him a very weak taser. They start towards the principal's office, but he has to run up the stairs because he is being pursued by a administrator with a machine gun. He finds a heavy book and calculates how much time to wait. He gets a D minus.
- A kid named Chip tries to get Ben to hack into the main frame but gets electrocuted by a kid named Murry. That night an assassin tries to get him to tell him about pinwheel, but Ben whacks him with a tennis racket. Ben then is talked to by the principal and put in the Box. Erica sneaks in and talks to him. The next morning Ben's school friend talks to him. In his first class he is attacked by ninjas.
- When Ben wakes up, he talks to Alexander Hale. A day later his class has a paintball battle. He follows Chip into a shed and finds a big bomb. Then the principal talks to him again, and he is stuck in the Box. That night Erica talks to him, and they hack the mainframe. The next day at lunch Murry and his group talk to him.
- He ends up in the security bunker but gets kidnapped by the Spyder organization. Then Erica saves him, and they get in the White House. Erica tells him some stories about her dad, and then they head back to the school. They talk to grumpy Crandell. Then he is captured and interrogated by the CIA.
- Ben then has to go after Tina but is stopped by Mike. They talk, but then Ben realizes that Murry is the double agent. Then he talks to Murry and then is left in there with a live bomb. Erica defuses the bomb, and they chase Murry. Ben knocks Murry out, but Alexander takes all the glory.
