- Bridgett lived with her mom,7-year-old brother, Aaron,3-year-old brother, Henry,and 8-month-old brother, Danny. They were a poor family and lived in a terrible cottage with no electricity. Bridgett's mom was very sick but they didn't have enough money to pay the doctor. Bridgett had to take care of her and her 3 brothers.

- Bridgett went to a public school and had one friend named Benny. There was a girl in her class named Isabella and she was rich and snobby. She bullied Bridgett
- sadly, Bridgett Mom dies and revered Paul makes a small funeral. Mr. McGregor, (Isabella's father), offers to take Bridgett in and put her brothers in an orphanage, Bridgett doesn't want to, but she has no choice.
- Bridgett went to their mansion and was made into a slave for Isabella. She had a damp room in an abandoned closet and was told she must only eat scraps and will not be served food, clothing or anything else.
- You must stay the same color i made you b/c it blends in with my walls, for you are a maid and I don't wanna see you, I just need you to serve me. Here is the whip daddy gave me in case you are bad. NOw go to bed, i expect you at 6:00 SHARP TOMORROW
- Isabella dies Bridgett's hair pink and her skin. She gives her an itchy dress that's pink and smelly, and overly warm sock that are also pink.
