- 1-Once a horse of the emperor began to behave badly. He neighed when anyone went close to him. Akbar stared at the horse angrily and ordered the stable man to whip him . Birbal was standing beside him.
- 3-"I know you have the love for animals" said the emperor," but you have to admit that he eats my grain and should work for me.
- 2-"Please forgive the horse" requested Birbal. "I think he is not in the mood
- On month later, the emperor Akbar and Birbal went into the jungle to hunt. Birbal had no interest for hunting, but he had to be with the emperor for company. While chasing a deer, Akbar and Birbal separated from the other people.
- On their horses they entered deeper and deeper into the forest. The dear was smart. It fled away leaving them in the midst of all kinds of danger in the jungle. They shouted on the top of there voices but no one shouted back. As it became dark they decided to stay in the jungle for the night.
- Akbar began to get hungry and took out the mixture of gram and nuts from his horse . Birbal even did the same thing.
- After a night rest,Akbar and Birbal began to leave. The horses were being violent.
- Birbal smiled and said" These horses ate your food and so they are supposed to work for you. Presently we have eaten their food. Don't you think it is our turn to work for them.
- "Look Birbal, this is the same horse you once requested not to punish. Your horse got a bad friend and so it is supporting my horse. How dare they refuse to ride us"? Akbar told angrily.
- The emperor laughed and ordered "First you give our horses some food,Birbal told me that they have the right to demand for food". Ha! Ha! Ha!
- Soon the other people returned and found the emperor.
- Moral of the take you should be equal with everyone whether they are animals or human beings.
