So dear students, today we're studying real numbers. Let's begin with the introduction. Real numbers are simply the combination of rational and irrational numbers, in the number system. for ex - 1, 5,6,7 etc.

real numbers consist of rational numbers , natural number, whole numbers , integers and irrational numbers. let's talk about the fundamental theorem of arithmetic which states that every natural number can be expressed as a product of it primes and the prime factorization is unique.

let's now discuss the relationship between HCF , LCM and product of the two numbers which is the product of HCF and LCM which is equal to the product of the two numbers. for ex - 2 and 5 whose HCF is equal to 1 and LCM is equal to 10 so the product of HCF and LCM is 10 whereas the product of the numbers 2 and 5 is also 10 which same as when HCF is multiplied by LCM. hence it is proved that the product of HCF amd LCM is equal to product of the two numbers . so students that is it for this chapter tomorrow we will start something new and thank you for today.
