- Is there big game on this island?
- The biggest. I wanted the ideal animal to hunt, explained the general. So I said, ‘What are the attributes of an ideal quarry?’ And the answer was, of course, ‘It must have courage, cunning, and, above all, it must be able to reason.’”
- Rainsford is on the yacht talking to Whitney, as they both went to sleep Rainsford heard a gun-shot. After hearing the gun-shot, Rainsford went to see where it came from. When he went to see, he lost his balance and fell into the water. Rainsford hit his head and swam to Ship-Trap island.
- Climax

- Rainsford finds an iron gate and thinks that it's a mirage, but then Ivan points a gun to his heart. After Rainsford saw the gun, he introduced himself to proof that he is not a threat nor robber. After introducing himself he did a military salute and he greets General Zaroff.
- Rising Action
- General Zaroff tells Rainsford about how he is a good hunter and that he plays a fun game every day. Rainsford was interested in the game and asks for more. Rainsford turns pale when he finds out that General Zaroff hunts humans for fun because he is so good at hunting no animal could satisfy him.
- Resolution
- How in God's name did you get here?

- Rainsford is hiding from General Zaroff, so he made an impossiable trail that way the Genaeal wont track him. Rainsford was scared for his life when he saw General Zaroff and climbed up a tree bramch. He came under the tree RainsFord was inand puffed a cigar under the brach where he was hiding. After he left because he didn't want to hunt to end that early.
- The next time Zaroff comes he came with his dogs. One of his best dogs dies when he falls into Rainsford trap. Rainsford thought it was the General but was dissapointed that is wasn't and after that night when the Pack chased he dove into the sea.
- RainsFord got into The General's room by swimming there and finished his urge for huntimg. After what happend Rainsford won and slept on his bed.
