- My holiday is christmas. Being celabrated just as the description of christmas, with family, friends, and santa. We set out cookies and milk for him. We help people out of christmas spirit and so on.(The father figure is not my actual dad.)
- Hannuka is based off of when the Isrealites took back Isreal. It lasts eight days with each day being lit with a candle on a thing called a menorah. This is held because the Isrealites went to a special temple and lit a candle with a very special kind of oil. It was only supposed to last for a night but ended up lasting eight days! Foodwise, hannukah basically does the same thing as christmas.
- Chinese new year is the most important celebration for their culture. It's a time to honor the spirits of their lives. Families come together to eat a large dinner, in a way like thanksgiving. It is celebrated on January 1st given the name. They have a zodiac based off of years and animals. The last thing they had for their feast was a fish which stood for always having enough to eat, though they didn't eat the fish. There is also a spring festival having dancers, singers, and all sorts of entertainment.
