  • Mesopotamia means land between to rivers and the two rivers Mesopotamia was located in between is the Tigris river and the Euphrates river.

  • Mesopotamians had a religon they where called polytheism where they believed in more than one gods and goddesses.

  • Mesopotamians had many achievements like they created writing and clay bricks to build houses and to write laws but they also made these religious buildings called ziggurats they where built so they could contain the laws of the land and so people could give offerings to the priest so he could give the offerings to the gods for peace.

  • There where many city-states called a monarchy which each consisted of there own governmeant to write there own laws.
  • There is stuff like agriculture, trade, metallurgy, and farming included in economics.
  • At the top of the social structure there is the king and his family below the king is the priest then below the priest is the farmers then at the bottm of the social structure is slaves.
