- I don't have a lot of experience but I'm so desperate for a job.
- I've been an engineer for almost 20 years and have worked on multiple job sites!
- Tell me about your engineering experience.
- I understand.
- I will keep you in mind, but we were looking for someone with a little more strength who's going to be able to work with the men. We need someone who they will listen to.
- To be honest I'm right out of college and don't have a lot of experience. But I would really appreciate if you gave me a chance to prove myself.

- Situations like hers happen more often than not, even in todays day and age. Many women who are qualified for jobs in previously male dominated fields don't get the time of day from employers. They are not taken as seriously as the men. And if they do get the job, equal pay is not always a guarantee. Gender equality in the workplace is something that needs serious reform, so more situations like this don't keep happening.
