Storyboard Text

  • We help each other as best we can!
  • Welcome to our home!
  • The forest was a peaceful community full of many types of plants and animals. They all worked together to make sure their home was well taken care of. They cleaned up the land every day and planted trees.
  • The forest community welcomed life from all over. They knew the newcomers were going to also help protect and grow their home. They also wanted peace not just in their homeland but all over! From marsh to desert, they wanted to get along with everyone.
  • What you did wasn't right, but let's try to fix this
  • Among both new and old, the woodland life made sure to take care of the area they lived in. The animals would make sure the trees had enough water and in turn the trees provided food and shelter. They made sure everyone in the land was taken care of, and that the land was too.
  • Now we're going to talk about the importance of our rivers and streams
  • The forest also believed that each part of the forest mattered, no matter who they were. Whether it was the moss growing below or the birds flying above, each was to be treated fairly. They could do mostly what they wanted, as long as it didn't hurt anyone or their home.
  • Despite the harmony across the forest, sometimes there was trouble. Instead of punishing whoever misbehaved harshly, other members of the forest would make sure to try to understand why this animal broke the rules and how to make them better.
  • Finally, to make their woodland the best it could be, the adult plants and animals would teach the younger how to take care of their home! This was very important to make sure the forest would be healthy and happy for years to come.
