- After the fredonian rebellion Mexico sent General Manuel Mier Y Teran to report of the settlers actions and behaviors later resulting in the Law of April 6, 1830
- Texas is failing...
- Colonists feel as if mexico is neglecting them and their rights under the constitution of 1824 and a person is arrested leading a mob to attack a garrison asking for his freedom resulting in the Turtle Bayou Resolutions

- A convention was held against Mexican laws, a group of people made several demands and listed them to be delivered to mexico as soon as possible. Austin vollenters to go and is arrested for treason and comes back as a revoloutionary
- Dear Mexican officials We want statehood for Texas and for you to also stop putting import taxes on our trade with the us we also want to have more Anglo's come into Texas and protection from the Indians that attack us finally we need land titles for settlers so there is no fight over each others property, Thank you
- The first battle [The Battle of Gonzales] was named the Lexington of Texas sparking many battles leading to the independence of Texas itself with only 18 men participating with a cannon and a historical flag saying come and take it
