- While they were playing cards, the old man told him that he worked as a crofter in Ramsjo Iron Mill.
- Also, the old man told him that after retirement, he now sells milk and last month he earned 30 kronors by doing so.
- The old man then went towards the window, took down a leather pouch and picked out three wrinkled ten-kronor bills.
- Then the old man stuffed those bills back into the pouch and kept the pouch where it was earlier.
- 30 Kronors!!
- Next Morning.....
- They both woke up at the same time.The old man was in a hurry to milk his cow and the peddler thought that it would be inappropriate to stay in the house without its owner in it.
- The crofter locked the door and put the key in his pocket. The peddler said goodbyes and thank you to the crofter and then they went their own way.
- Thank You!!!
- The Rattrap seller smashed the window of old man's cottage and took the money out of the pouch and left the pouch in its place.
- Half an hour later....
-
- As he walked along with the money in his pocket he felt quiet pleased with his smartness.
- I shouldn't continue on public road and must take forest.
