  • God gave all men equal rights. Since England is taking away American colonists' rights, it's our right to form our own country.
  • We want to break away from England!
  • The official break from England. We're free and independent and we are not with England any more.
  • This is a specific list of bad things King George lll has done to the colonists.
  • The colonists are telling the world that America is breaking away from England.
  • The authors' explanation to the world about how we addressed our concerns with King George lll peacefully and humbly many times. His refusal led him punishing us more.
