Storyboard Text
- In Scotland, three witches wait for Macbeth in thunder and lightning. They agree to meet Macbeth "when the battles lost and won".
- Scottish army at war with Norwegian army. Captain informs them of Banquo and Macbeth's battle. Ross and Angus break news that the Thane of Cawdor has sided with Norway. Duncan decides to execute Thane and give "Cawdor" to Macbeth.
- The three witches wait for Macbeth.#160;He arrives with Banquo. The witches hail him as "Thane Of Cawdor". Banquo and Macbeth question the witches as to who they are and they vanish into thin air.
- Malcolm assures Duncan that the former Thane has been executed.#160; Macbeth enters and Duncan thanks him and Banquo for their loyalty and bravery. Duncan tells Macbeth that he plans to visit him at his home in Iverness.
- Lady Macbeth learns of Macbeth's meeting with the witches. She fears that Macbeth is not ruthless enough to murder Duncan and assure the completion of the witches' prophecy. Lady Macbeth makes all of the preparations for the king's visit and subsequent murder.
- Duncan arrives at Iverness and has a conversation with Lady Macbeth. Duncan ask where Macbeth is and Lady Macbeth offers to bring him to where Macbeth waits.
