This storyboard does not have a description.
The Duke says he feels sorry for Antonio and that Shylock is a heartless Jew.
Shylock says that he should be allowed to cut off a pound of Antonio's flesh as per their agreement.
Antonio says that Shylock is being cruel because he won't listen to pleas for mercy.
Portia, disguised as Doctor Balthazar, hands a letter from Doctor Bellario saying that Balthazar will take Bellario's place in court.
Portia tells the Duke that even though Shylock can take a pound of flesh from Antonio if he spills a drop of blood, Shylock will get all of his possessions, and if he choose not to take any flesh he still will be in trouble.
Antonio forces Shylock to become Christian, give half of his belongings to him, and the other half will go to Jessica and Lorenzo when he dies.
