- how come we can’t bring slaves?!?
- In the early 1800's the government declared that some of Americas citizens had to move west due to the over populated cites! President Polk said it was their manifest destiny to move west! When Mexicans invited the Americans to live in Texas the Mexicans had rules that they needed to follow because the Americans that moved to Texas and now they were Texans !
- This must be our manifest destiny!
- As some of you may know some of you are going to have to move west due to the population and space! In addition to that Mexico has invited some of you to move to Texas! But you can’t bring slaves!
- WE CLEARLY STATED NO SLAVES!!!
- Thank you for having us but you cant tell me what I could do with my property!!
- In Texas there where no slaves allowed because the Mexicans where also people of color but Americans decided to bring slaves.

- After the Americans didn't listen then the Mexicans fired and then a war broke out! Since America had a stronger army than Mexico the Americans won the war between them and America took Texas from mexico which then expanded America.
- You have disrespected the citizens of America and now we are going to take your land!
- Get off of our land or we will fire!!!
