- This is when Gatsby had been seen by Nick and Gatsby was just staring at something or even just thinking while outside of his mansion and this gives an indirect view of Gatsby showing him in a more mysterious way making the reader wonder more about him especially after he had just vanished

- While Nick Had went to a party with Tom, Myrtle had kept on talking about Daisy which had led Tom to breaking her nose. This had shown indirectly and also directly what Tom had really thought about his whole affair with her and how he really is by his actions and also what he said to Myrtle about talking about Daisy
- What did you do
- While at Gatsby's party, people began to wonder who Gatsby actual was and where he came from. They began to talk about things that they heard such as him being a German spy and even killing people. This is an indirect way because even though they are directly talking about who is he and what he does, all of those things could be wrong making it indirect
